digitalmars.D.announce - DConf '22 Early-bird Registration is Open!

Get yer DConf '22 Early-Bird Registration right here:

http://dconf.org/2022/index.html#register

And while you're at it, learn more about our venue and some
nearby hotels:

http://dconf.org/2022/index.html#venue

Early-bird registration is $352.75, a 15% discount off of the
general rate of $415. The general rate kicks in on June 1, so
register before then to take advantage of it.

We're also offering a flat rate of $100 for students and $200 for
major open source contributors. If you think you qualify, please
contact me via social dlang.org for details.

We have to add a 20% VAT to all registration rates. There's a
table on the web site showing the total for each rate, plus the
equivalent in GBP at the current HMRC exchange rate.

At the moment, I've enabled payments only through Flipcause. I
should have USD and GBP options for PayPal live by the end of the
weekend for those who prefer it. But I encourage you to pay
through Flipcause, as it will save us a little bit of money.

I'll also post the submission deadline by the end of this
weekend. If you're thinking about submitting something, please
get it to me soon! The details are here:

http://dconf.org/2022/index.html#schedule

Please email me at social dlang.org if you have any problems
paying for your registration.

Will the conference be livestreamed? I know previous events have
been recorded.
I can't make it out to London, but I'd happily pay some amount of
money for a "livestream" seat.

Yes, it will be livestreamed. We do that every year, actually. This year the venue is handling both livestreaming and recording. Someone will be monitoring the livestream chat for questions during each talk.
