digitalmars.D.ldc - ldc2-1.36: /lib64/libm.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.29' not found (required

This happens when you invoke ldc2 on a machine which runs Rocky 
Linux 8 (8.9; EoL May 31, 2029 [1]). The ldc2 is in [2]. I would 
appreciate if the tarballs will be prepared on the oldest and not 
on the latest OS releases available.

I think we do the best possible here, within reason. Github Actions oldest available Linux builder is Ubuntu 20, which is what we use to build the release. So in a way, we are indeed preparing the tarball on the oldest OS release available... -Johan

Maybe you can get libc.a elsewhere and link with it similar to mingw libs?

For maximum reach with Linux currently, you can use LDC 1.28
