It's not released yet. This is why listing the next release on that page is a bad idea...
OK. Maybe if the page said "Unreleased" or "Expected release date xxx"...

I think that it's a side effect of how the beta is dealt with, but I do= n't know=20 (2.059 is in beta right now - head to the beta list if you want to disc= uss=20 it). Certainly, I'd argue that it shouldn't be listed until it's actual= ly=20 released and that if it's been done on purpose, it's that much worse. - Jonathan M Davis

All it needs is a paragraph to state the truth. next release is still in progress, can be checked out from github linkhere, built, tested, these are the features and fixes thought already done, list of other stable point goal feature/fixes of next release, hopeful date when done. Usual warning of unstable bits. Or point a link to github page stating similar. Surely thats not too difficult?
