In case you missed it at dconf.org, our first night of BeerConf 
at DConf '25 is set to be very different than in past years, 
courtesy of Weka.

Of course they're providing you with the customary free drinks, 
but they're also going to feed you. On top of that, be prepared 
to have your intellect challenged as you compete for a prize in a 
Kahoot quiz.

So if you're attending DConf '25, don't make any dinner plans! 
Head straight over to the pub and grab some food before it's 
gone, wash it down with your beverage of choice, and battle it 
out for the Kahoot crown!

I had the same rant last year.
 From my perspective this is wrong resource management.

But again - this is of course from the point of "community 
development" and WEKA has their own targets and purposes :)

The cost of the happy hour is a small percentage of, and 
completely separate from, the amount Weka donated to us to 
supplement Symmetry's funding for our salaries and the cost of 
DConf. It's awesome that they're willing to do it. This is a good 
thing. Be happy.

That sounds fun! I wonder if it's a regular pub quiz or if the
