digitalmars.D - Hyphenation gone wild

reply Andrei Alexandrescu <SeeWebsiteForEmail erdani.org> writes:
Looks like there's some over-hyphenation in tables, which leads to the
situation in the screenshot at https://imgur.com/a/xH6nSV1 (Chrome
browser, plenty of width available). Inlined code should probably never
be hyphenated.

Can't find how to reproduce it, link to the page, and device on which it happens? https://dlang.org/library/std/algorithm/iteration/cumulative_fold.html has a more serious problem in which the symbol name in the title is not being wrapped, causing the page to be much wider than otherwise necessary.

That doesn't look like inline code, rather the symbol name in a DDox-generated table.

For me it happens on the page you linked to [1]. Chrome 76.0.3809.132 and Safari 12.1.2 (14607.3.9) on macOS 10.14.6. Happens on Safari 13.0 (15608.2.5) on macOS 10.15 Beta (19A546d) as well. [1] https://dlang.org/library/std/algorithm/iteration/cumulative_fold.html -- /Jacob Carlborg
