Just FYI, it's supposed to contain the latest forum posts in there. Something was broken when Andrei pushed it, and I'm assuming he's not yet up to see the reports :) How it should look is detailed here: https://github.com/D-Programming-Language/dlang.org/pull/815 -Steve

So what you are saying is that at some point it will contain advertisements for bathroom renovations in the UK!

Excellent! Now let's see how many spammers we convert to the D cause... :-P T -- The fact that anyone still uses AOL shows that even the presence of options doesn't stop some people from picking the pessimal one. - Mike Ellis

Oh great... I can see it now... 5 years later dlang.org's slogan would be "The D programming language. Modern convenience. Modeling power. Native efficiency. The spammers' choice!". Except that I'm expecting the GC will delete spam software upon startup, assuming that we get our act together to make it a *real* GC... :-D That would put a damper on adopting spammers to our cause. :-P T -- People tell me that I'm skeptical, but I don't believe them.

Neat! I think all the efforts you made till now is a improvement from what the original site was. I know It will be hard to please everyone, but as I said in another topic the site was in need of fresh air. PS: Maybe the titles: Last Announcements, Active Discussions and Tweets could have another background color, for example: http://i.imgur.com/Fkm6179.png Matheus.

Too much red, IMHO. Regardless, I don't think we have that much control over the styling of the Twitter widget, as it is inside an iframe. I should do something about that overflow, though - didn't notice it on my system as my fonts are narrower.
