c++ - Microsoft Assembler in DMC Distro?

reply Mark Evans <Mark_member pathlink.com> writes:
Would it be possible to include the Microsoft Assembler with DMC? This is an
obscure tool that some builds require, e.g. OpenOffice. It is free but hard to
extract from MS archives which are geared exclusively for MSVC owners.

While it may be free to download from Microsoft servers, it is still
copyrighted, and so would require a license from Microsoft for anyone else
to make it available. -Walter

Of course but Microsoft might be happy to supply the distro license (ask!) and
if not, you could just include any of dozens of free ML.EXE equivalents that
exist out there.
