D.gnu - gdcproject.org down for maintenance

Hi,

Some aspects of gdcproject.org will be down for the next few
hours. Should be all back up Sunday morning-ish time. This is
due to work being done by the host providers that requires a
reboot of the VM at a time when I will not be available to bring
all services back up (unsociable hours of the morning).

If your OS supports systemd, I can highly recommend it to deploy services. Solves all the important boring stuff, logging, starting on boot, uid, gid, and umask setting, also can restart crashed services. https://github.com/MartinNowak/drepl_server/blob/3ac0466d9c465d41e836256b4f62969a09e6f187/drepl.service

Except that systemd is just ewwww. :-) In any case, all services back up. Iain.
