Regarding the GSoC application, please guide me on how to get started.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Have a look at the official GSoC student guide: http://write.flossmanuals.net/gsocstudentguide While the community is certainly happy to help with any specific questions or discuss any project proposals you might have, it is the students' responsibility to figure out how they want to contribute to the project. — David
