It is not dead. another lurker was just saying it is dead to him (he will not use it/has deleted it off of his hard drive). -Steve

Hi I've got impression that "another lurker" was trolling. Tango will never be dead - for D1 it the only option. So until D1 is used it's alive. Different issue is that license chosen for Tango isn't the best one. I'm all the way with Walter that license for standard library should be 100% legal correct. Cheers Piotrek

In a manner I was trolling. But it is truth in it. I liked Tango but for long
time
suspected there is too much personal issues in Tango leaders. Today I know Tango
team wants to have famous not D to have success. Don't know how to express sorry
for poor English. Tango want force people use Tango. Tango is poison.

Ok. I get your point. But I don't blame Tango team for anything (even admire their hard work). Of cource it would be great if all developers worked together. It would be idyll. However, note that some Tango developers fight on two fronts. The most sad thing is when someone starts to throw a hate at other after his failure in enforcing own will. Piotrek

I didn't mean it. I've never seen key people from Tango to be hostile to Walter (they rather cooperate fruitfully). On the other hand I can say that I understand those frustrated people (and I don't have Tango users on my mind but frustrated people in general- we had many examples in the past) . They as many other hoped to make D successful instantly. For some unknown reason this didn't happen (at least on a large scale - however we won't give up). After waiting some time and not seeing huge improvements they started witch-hunt. Cheers Piotrek

Examples of what? Fruits? dmd, druntime, druntime People? Sean, Don, Steven, ... P.S. I guess we can stop discussion and do something more useful. From me EOT (unless I couldn't resist ;). Cheers Piotrek

Your kidding, right? Sean, Don, Steven are not key people from Tango to cooperate fruitfully. Sean, Don, Steven left Tango to join Phobos fruitfully.

Let's turn down the voltage here, way down, please. Email is a classic medium for well-intentioned people to misunderstand each other. I've often discovered that differences via email melt away to nothing if we're in the same room having a beer.
