digitalmars.D - "nobody known about D!"

Yah I know. I'm hoping I can con a better writer than me into coning those 
people into including D (joking about the conning)

As an aside, does anyone known of a language that had a bigger following 
than D while still <1.0?

I email Eric Levenez about once a year asking him to put D on his list. 
His latest reply says he didn't think D was important because it wasn't 
on this page:

(which it wouldn't be on because there is no comp.lang.d -- Walter). He 
doesn't think the Tiobe ranking is meaningful.

I did (there are roughly 100,000 D postings here!). But I don't expect a 
reply.
