Repost under new subject: Regarding cross-platform development tools, has anyone attempted D support for Emacs CEDET? Would this effort be worthwhile - i.e. is CEDET a popular platform? Now that GDB has D language support, I could see this being a powerful solution -

I wouldn't mind seeing it. Eclipse is useful, but working in emacs is easier. I still prefer emacs over eclipse for most things.
