I just uploaded a new version of Descent with improved memory 
performance. I used the excellent Eclipse Memory Analizer ( 
http://www.eclipse.org/mat/ ) to spot duplicated char[]s and strings, 
and also big objects that were never disposed in the path to the GC root.
