I'm assuming you mean this thread: digitalmars.D/18838 I haven't studied those posts in detail, but they certainly sound like a template-ish topic. This should be a good place to discuss that topic. It's not like you'd be stifling all of the DTL discussions. ;)

Of course I don't object to you discussing this here. (Just please don't cross-post it to other newsgroups--and I'm not accusing you of cross-posting in the past. My pet peeve is when someone starts a new thread in two or more newsgroups at the same time. Or when they start cross-posting a topic that failed to generate sufficient interest in the original newsgroup. I try to read all of the posts in all of the D newsgroups and it gets annoying when I have to click a bunch of extra times for a cross-posted topic.) -- jcc7 http://jcc_7.tripod.com/d/
