I don't know an original developer but source code is here: http://svn.dsource.org/projects/dmdfe

A year-and-a-half out of date.

I think the original developer was Ben Hinkle. I managed to update DMDFE once, so it shouldn't be too dificult. If you update it, try to contact the author, to pass it upstream. -- Luís
