(my apologies if this has been brought up already) Well, it looks like ABA is at it again, this time with a new shooter entitled simply "Titanion". If you have played any of the other titles from ABA before, then you already know that *abstract* is the name of the game, as is the description on the site: "Strike down super high-velocity swooping insects. Fixed shooter in the good old days, 'Titanion'." Of course, like all discriminating game authors, this was written using a very recent version of DMD (0.173) and is powered by SDL and a host of other technologies. More information at the game's site: http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~cs8k-cyu/windows/ttn_e.html Titanion made some press over on The Independent Gaming Source a few days back, where it was received quite warmly: http://tigsource.dynamiksites.com/articles/2006/11/24/titanion Also, many more Windows games (some written in D) are available at the ABA games site: http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~cs8k-cyu/

These games simply rock. Beautiful graphics and hypnotizing atmosphere. The site says many of those are windows-only, but they play rather nicely on wine without problems.

You can probably simply recompile for your platform, since it uses SDL and OpenGL.

The code includes a lot of examples about D specific features... and it's really clean Thanks a lot.
