In light of the New Years and wanting some more chatting, after a 
couple of people inquiring about a link, I've decided to put up a 
jitsi chat for New Years!

We'll run it until the day after New Years so that everyone who

I'll start:

I've contributed to D's IntelliJ plugin to help make it more 
polished so that it is not constantly throwing exceptions.

Done tons of design work towards D's shared library support so 
that common scenarios will not error out (currently waiting on a 
PR from Rainer and DIP queue to reopen).

Figured out how we would implement Unicode identifiers for D 
(UAX31), to ensure D's continued excellance in communication with 
others languages like C23.



Next year:

I'm hoping to see D's shared library support to be finalized.

UAX31 identifiers to be implemented (waiting on Walter for 
agreement of process prior to implementation).

PhobosV3 work from Adam Wilson to see some paths forward 
including an initial roadmap of what work can be parallelized to 
get an idea of what shape it will get to be in and start 
unblocking work for people.

A design for coroutines to be drawn up and for DIP1000 and 
attributes in general to be made significantly easier to use wrt. 
contract invalidation and reference counting.
