This is truly a traffic surge.
Yesterday, the traffic was 6 times normal. Digg gives a shorter, but harder, spike in traffic than slashdot. We'll add up the numbers at the end of the day. The normal traffic also tends to be spread out over the pages, slashdot and digg just slam a few pages hard and leave the rest untouched.
