Hi! A few days ago, there was a link to a german news forum featuring an = article about D. Today I looked into it to read the new comments, this i= s = what I found a minute ago:Ich seh das mal ganz n=FCchtern, da wollten ein paar Leute mal einen C++ Compiler bauen, haben das aber nicht hinbekommen und dann all das was sie nicht geschafft haben einfach rausgelassen. Was rauskam, war eine kastrierte Programiersprache die keiner braucht.
Translation: I'm seeing that totally realistic, there are those guys who wanted to = build a C++ compiler, they couldn't do it and now they threw away all th= e = features they couldn't implement. The result is a castrated programming = = language nobody needs. :) -mike -- = Erstellt mit Operas revolution=E4rem E-Mail-Modul: http://www.opera.com/= mail/

Please don't. It gave me a laugh when you first posted the article. I find its very easy for anyone to miss a point in a news posting and focus on some small aspect of what you said. I wouldn't worry about that. -Joel

Yeah, that's true ... and at the moment I'm a bit oversensitive ... a = friend of mine is currently ruining her life and I'm worried day and nig= ht = about that. Just to overkill what others are saying, please keep bothering. It was just an unfortunate miscommunication. That and I found the article funny, and the resulting comment about sheisse and heise :)

Why don't you provide a link? I guess this is from the infamous heise-forum. It's no news that they have some gigant trolls.

Heh. If only I knew enough german to be able to actually read and understand the article and comments, I might do so - however, my german is a bit rusty by now, since I've last studied it in '91...
