Thanks for the pointers guys.  Actually I really just meant to comment 
that it was interesting that there's something else completely unrelated 
called "The D Conference".  And that it's popular enough to be #1 on 
google.  Anybody ever heard of this other D conference?

It's put on by the Wall Street Journal, iirc, and this year, they got
Steve Jobs and Bill Gates to sit down for like 90 min. at a talk.
