For LDC guys - one striking/usability point I've got as an input from other 
people when I've tried to direct them to try out D: Where are precompiled 
installation packages for Windows/OSX? You know people are downright lazy, 
you should account for that.

LDC doesn't work on Windows yet. I think that answers both your 
questions. <g>

If I'm reading the question right: for various legal reasons Walter can't/won't 
work on compiles He doesn't own.
