The old D newsgroup messages are now archived in html at www.digitalmars.com/d/archives/index.html. Hopefully, this means that google will index it and at last it will be searchable. There's a gold mine of good stuff there. Writing the news-to-html converter program turned out to be a piece of cake with D! <g> Enjoy!

Even if Google doesn't index it (and I think Google is running out of excuses, so it should), this is pretty cool. Thanks!Writing the news-to-html converter program turned out to be a piece of cake with D! <g> Enjoy!

Hooray! Walter, the archive webpages did the trick. Google has finally indexed the original D newsgroup (news://news.digitalmars.com/D)! It's probably easiest to use through the custom search page: http://www.digitalmars.com/advancedsearch.html Now about those newer newsgroups... ;) -- Justin (a/k/a jcc7) http://jcc_7.tripod.com/d/

Ah yes, it is working now. The big surge in hits on those pages was a tipoff <g>.It's probably easiest to use through the custom search page: http://www.digitalmars.com/advancedsearch.html
Now about those newer newsgroups... ;)
Yes, I need to do them next.
