At the heart of the above are some fairly basic FP vector and matrix stuff that
I (at least) am finding a 'real world' need for more and more.

From what I've seen, DMD /rocks/ on byte/word operations - it's important to see
the same level of perf. for FP also, IMHO.

Anyone besides me see FP perf. important to address for v1.0?
