? 
Chris refer to 8.42. Do you already have list how DMC progressed since then 
regarding these tests? I'm curious...

I don't think the recent compiler updates will have any effect on my tests.
Having said that, you could just re-run the tests with the latest compiler
version yourself.

I'm sure I could, but doing a lot around wxWidgets I have a little free time
for 
such experimentation, while it's what Walter is doing daily ;))))
I imagined I could ask for his findings before I describe DMC to another
wxWidgets 
user as I did today in wxforum.org

I think the if and for statement conditions work now.
