Concept: an Ajax engine using ECMAScript for both client and server side code,
using JSON 
as the communication format.  Woo.

At the moment, it looks like it'll have to be post-1.0. I'll be lucky 
just to get D ready!

That's perfectly fine, considering what you've been doing with D lately.  :) 
So long as 
DMDScript isn't abandoned or permanently back-burnered I'll be perfectly happy
to wait. 
It might be best to do this project with a stable D/1.0 anyhow.
