D.gnu - D within gcc

I just noticed that Gentoo has a "d" use-flag for gcc. When I emerged gcc with the flag enabled, I got gdc, phobos, etc. It seems to work fine. For me, this is a huge step forward for D's viability on Linux. Just though this was worth trumpeting.
