with gdc (gcc version 4.0.3 (gdc 0.19, using dmd 0.162)), makes the compiler
generate a segmentation fault:
"internal compiler error: Segmentation fault"

Is this a bug or not?

Every segmentation fault of the compiler is a bug. Please file a bug
report: http://d.puremagic.com/issues/
