D - i am a newbie

D is a lot easier to learn and use than C++, IMO. However, it's in alpha stage - that is, it's incomplete and can change, and compiler probably contains bugs, so I wouldn't recommend using it for anything _serious_ at this moment - unless you want to be a beta tester, of course. =)
